TraCS can be used in a wireless environment. Wireless capabilities can be an excellent way to transfer data from TraCS Mobile to TraCS Office through the TraCS Start Shift/End Shift process. Mobile computers with wireless capabilities allow the TraCS user to drive up to the office and perform the Start Shift/End Shift function without leaving their patrol car.
