The Incident Mapping Tool (IMAT) is analysis software for analyzing location data collected using TraCS and the Incident Location Tool (ILT) software. IMAT is similar in look and feel to the ILT software. IMAT allows same-day analysis of incident data collected by law enforcement officials to create maps and charts. It is important to note that in order to use IMAT, incidents MUST be located using ILT.

Here is an example of a map of crashes created in IMAT using location information from a TraCS Office database.

IMAT also allows the user to "Stack" incidents to allow multiple incidents in one location to be displayed, as seen below.

IMAT also has functionality that allows for the creaton of simple charts using information contained in the TraCS Office database as demonstrated here.
